Welcome to this website, which has been created to promote ‘Lectio Divina’ in daily personal prayer, as well as in families, groups, parishes, etc.
At that time, Jesus spoke and said:
"I bless you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
for hiding this from the wise and intelligent
and revealing it to little children.
Yes, Father, for such was your good pleasure.
All things have been handed over to me by my Father,
and no one knows the Son except the Father,
and no one knows the Father except the Son,
and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him."
Matthew 11:25-27
Christ clearly shows us that prayerful reading of the Word is accessible to all, as long as we make ourselves ‘little ones’; in other words, as long as we are truly humble.
Admittedly, Lectio divina is a path, ‘a true spiritual journey in stages’ that requires work, but it is simpler than it seems, and we must keep in mind that it is a matter of welcoming a Person, Jesus Christ, the Word of God made flesh. To understand the Word correctly, the constant presence of the Holy Spirit is necessary, who will ‘guide us into all truth’ (Jn 16:13).*
Fraternally yours,
Robert NORGAARD

The texts published in the blog aim to shed light, through the Pope's catechesis, testimonies, prayers, homilies, etc., on our relationship with the Word of God and on the fruits it produces in us when we welcome it with an open and trusting heart.
